Self-Check Symptoms:
-Fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, fatigue, muscle and body aches, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, vomiting, diarrhea, blue lips. If one of these symptoms are taking place, student should remain home.
This year when calling the office to report your child/children’s absence be prepared to answer the following questions:
-What are your child’s symptoms?
-Is there a fever and what is it recording at?
-If they have been tested for anything and any confirmed results.
You should keep your child home from school if he or she has any of these symptoms: (Additionally, if your child demonstrates any of these symptoms at school you will be contacted to pick them up.)
-Fever of 100F or higher
-Has diarrhea or has been vomiting
-Has pink eye
-Has chills
-Has very red, irritated eyes with drainage, crusting or pain
-Has a severe sore throat
-Loss of sense of smell and/or taste
-Has a constant or productive cough that may be accompanied by headache and body aches
