Tuition Information

Besides the gift of life, the greatest gift parents or guardians can give their children is the gift of faith. We are very glad that you have chosen to send your children to a Catholic elementary school. It reflects both your commitment to raise your child(ren) in the Catholic faith, as well as your desire to provide them with an academically rigorous education within a nurturing family environment that will help shape their future to be the best they can be.

The Quincy Catholic Schools Leadership Team has made the decision to not increase tuition for the 2017-2018 school year.

The Instructional Fee for the 2017-2018 school year will remain at $190 per child, if it is paid in full by Monday, May 1st, 2017. After May 1st, 2017, the Instructional Fee will increase to $290 per child. The $50 per student Technology Fee will also remain the same, if paid by Monday, May 1st, 2017. After May 1st, 2017, the Technology Fee will increase to $100 per student. However, in order to guarantee a space for your child(ren) at any one of the four Catholic elementary schools, both the Instructional Fee and the Technology Fee, which are non-refundable, must be paid by Monday, May 1st, 2017. PLEASE NOTE that current QCES families that still owe tuition and/or fees for the current school year, 2016-2017, must pay their outstanding amount by Friday, March 31st, 2017. For those parents with a 2016-2017 tuition loan from HOMEBANK, you must also be current with your loan payments. Families that are not in good financial standing with their school, and with their HOMEBANK loan payments, will not be allowed to register their children for the 2017-2018 school year, until all 2016-2017 tuition and fees are paid in full. PLEASE ALSO NOTE that you can no longer include the $190 Instructional Fee and the $50 Technology Fee in a school loan. Only tuition will be allowed to be paid by a school loan. All tuition loans acquired through HOMEBANK must first be approved by the Pastor of the parish school your child(ren) will be attending, and that Pastor will periodically receive information on the status of your loan.

Please be aware that it is the desire of all four pastors to have every Catholic child in Quincy enrolled in one of our four Catholic elementary schools. It is also our desire, along with that of each school principal, to work with every family to the greatest extent possible to make a Catholic education an affordable investment in their children’s future.

Private School Aid Service (PSAS) was recently purchased by FACTS, who will now be doing the needs assessment for QCES families. QCES families seeking tuition assistance are encouraged to complete and mail their FACTS Application Form, along with all necessary supporting documentation, by Friday, March 31st, 2017, in order to receive full consideration from the Tuition-Assistance Review Committee of the QCES Foundation. Families who will also have children attending QND in the fall only need to submit one FACTS form. The FACTS Application deadline for QND is also Friday, March 31st, 2017. QCES is offering assistance in completing the new FACTS Application Form for the 2017-2018 school year. If you would like assistance in completing the application form, please contact the principal of your school, and she will be happy to put you in touch with a “Tuition Mentor.” You will be assigned a “Tuition Mentor” from a parish/school other than your own, who has volunteered and been trained to help families wanting assistance in completing the FACTS Application Form. Strict confidentiality will be maintained.
